The NWA Innovation Fund assists entrepreneurs in reaching early critical milestones for their businesses or products. The Innovation Fund serves as the initial step in establishing a collaborative partnership to facilitate personal and company growth. Entrepreneurs within every community and cultural context play a vital role in improving our world, and our goal is to provide support.

INVESTMENT CRITERIA…
Eligibility
An early stage company that meets the following criteria:
Qualified Program
Is participating, in good standing or has successfully completed, a qualified FL-based business incubator or accelerator program.
qualified Advisor
Is receiving active and highly engaged advisory support from a qualified mentor.
Registered
C-Corp
Is willing to become a C-Corp, with a formal shareholder /operating agreement and cap table available for inspection.
Intellectual Property
Has formal and proper ownership and assignment of intellectual property and trade secrets related to the company.
STANDARD INVESTMENT
Check Size
From $25,000 to $50,000
Deal Terms
Convertible debt instrument with a standard cap of $5M or less, interest at 8%, and with a two (2) year conversion term.
Future Investment
The Fund's investment secures NWA’s right to invest, at our sole discretion, in subsequent investment rounds.

Relationship manager
A point of contact within NWA will be assigned as a focal point for sharing updates and insight on your progress, finding resources, and serving as a sponsor for expanding your visibility within the NWA syndicate.

With demonstrated progress, NWA will evaluate future funding and can syndicate investment opportunities with others across the Florida early-stage venture ecosystem.

What’s the Process?
The Innovation Fund team will review incoming applications and make decisions on a 30 day rolling basis until Fund I is fully invested.
Once your company is identified as an investment candidate, we will request additional information and schedule time for a conversation with you and your team, and your advisors and incubator or accelerator.
We will endeavor to move an investable company from application, decision, to funding in 60 days or less.
