New World Angels membership provides you a hands-on opportunity to profitably invest in, and guide, early stage companies. New World is a very personal and professional collaboration between successful business leaders seeking to diversify their investment portfolios into early stage ventures. Our diverse backgrounds and experiences permit examination of potential investments outside our individual industry and technological expertise. Our diverse membership also provides the legal and financial background required for negotiating early stage company investments.

New World Angels receives hundreds of early stage company funding requests each year. We draw upon our collective knowledge and experiences to analyze the most promising opportunities, then we individually choose our personal level of investment. Members determine their level of participation in the investment process itself by collaborating in finding entrepreneurs, screening them, analyzing them, negotiating deal terms, and providing ongoing oversight to our portfolio companies.

Our members are successful business executives and investment professionals (both active and retired) who have helped build the Floridian and the American economic engine.  We represent many industries, technologies, and experiences. We are from companies both large and small, public and private. Our members share a passion for finding and engaging smart and motivated entrepreneurs from interesting and diverse cultures and backgrounds. We are united in the belief that the pooling of our financial resources and personal energies around emerging companies is both a profitable endeavor and a positive social good.

Get to know us by attending a member meeting as our guest. Member candidates must meet accredited investor qualifications as outlined by the SEC. Membership requires a formal application and two informal interviews with a Board of Director member. Annual member dues are $2,500 per year and members agree to invest up to $20,000 annually in the group’s mandatory investments.
